Treetop Hoppers

Treetop Hoppers lifts young adventurers high above the Rainforest at Chessington World of Adventures, delivering a lively burst of bouncing fun. From the moment you take your seat, the anticipation builds. Then, without warning, the towers spring into action, sending riders hopping skyward before gently dropping back down again.

At around 7 metres tall, these twin drop towers feel huge to little explorers. However, the experience stays playful rather than intense. Each bounce creates a light, floaty sensation that keeps riders laughing throughout. Meanwhile, the jungle soundtrack and leafy surroundings add to the atmosphere, making every hop feel like part of an adventure.

As a result, Treetop Hoppers works perfectly as a first thrill ride. It introduces younger guests to the feeling of airtime in a safe and controlled way. Parents can join in too, which makes it a great shared experience for families.

However, the story of Treetop Hoppers begins long before the Rainforest existed. The attraction first opened in 2001 as Ribena Berry Bouncers, replacing the Clown Coaster in Toytown. Over time, the ride evolved through several rethemes. It became Berry Bouncers, then Jungle Bouncers, before finally taking on the Treetop Hoppers name in 2015.

Then, in 2020, the ride found a brand-new home. As part of the Rainforest, the towers moved and rotated into their current position. Consequently, they now sit at the heart of this vibrant family area, fitting seamlessly into its adventurous theme.

Despite all these changes, the core experience remains the same. The ride still delivers simple, energetic fun that appeals to younger guests. Ultimately, Treetop Hoppers proves that you don’t need big heights for big fun. Instead, it focuses on laughter, movement and repeat rides. So, if you’re exploring the Rainforest, make sure to hop aboard and bounce your way into the treetops.
