Tiny Truckers Returns

19th April 2024

Tiny Truckers returns to action at Chessington World of Adventures, reopening in Adventure Point after a closed-season refresh.

The classic children’s ride has returned with several improvements designed to brighten the experience for young drivers. Most notably, the ride now features a brand-new queue line that begins inside the former Fastrack building.

As a result, guests will now enter the attraction through an updated indoor space before heading outside to the trucks. Along the way, new interactive elements have been added to keep younger visitors entertained while they wait.

Meanwhile, the ride vehicles themselves have also received attention. Each truck has been freshly repainted, giving the convoy a bright new look as it travels around the winding track. The surrounding ride area has also seen new theming and refreshed details, helping the attraction feel more vibrant within Adventure Point.

Tiny Truckers may feel new again, but the attraction has a long history at the park. Originally opening as Toy Town Truckers in 1993, the ride has entertained generations of young guests for over three decades.

Built by Zamperla, the attraction is a Convoy-style children’s ride, where riders can steer their own truck along a guided track. Although the path is fixed, the steering wheel allows kids to feel like they are truly driving.

Because of its age, the ride was due for a refresh to keep it looking its best. Now, thanks to the latest updates, Tiny Truckers is ready to welcome a new generation of young drivers.

So if you’re visiting Adventure Point, be sure to stop by and take a spin behind the wheel.
