Chessington World of Adventures is gearing up for one of its biggest family expansions yet as the resort unveils full details for World of PAW Patrol, opening in spring 2026. Moreover, this major addition brings the vibrant world of Adventure Bay to life across a fully immersive 1.4-acre area. The new land will feature rides, play spaces, dining, retail, and year-round character interactions.

Bringing Adventure Bay to Chessington

World of PAW Patrol recreates iconic locations from the hit preschool series and features a fully realised Lookout Tower that sets the scene instantly. Moreover, guests enter a bright and colourful environment filled with themed buildings, interactive elements, landscaped zones, and recognisable details from PAW Patrol.

The new land forms part of Merlin Entertainments’ multi-year commitment to expanding family attractions across its UK resorts. Additionally, Chessington’s version becomes the UK’s first fully themed PAW Patrol land and strengthens its growing line-up for younger guests.

Four New PAW Patrol-Themed Rides

The land will introduce four ride attractions, each themed around a popular pup and designed to offer gentle thrills suitable for younger families:

• Chase’s Mountain Mission
  A family coaster that takes guests on one of Chase’s signature rescue adventures. The track layout features small dips, turns and chase-style action, giving younger riders their first taste of coaster fun.
• Skye’s Helicopter Heroes
  A family spinning ride where guests board Skye’s pink helicopter fleet. Riders rise and rotate through the sky, simulating a playful helicopter patrol over Adventure Bay.
• Marshall’s Fire Truck Rescue
  A motion-based rescue ride themed to Marshall’s firefighting skills. Families climb aboard fire engines and head out on a kid-friendly mission through flame-themed scenes and playful effects.
• Zuma’s Hovercrafts
  A water-rescue-themed attraction featuring the UK’s first purpose-built drifter ride. Guests board hovercraft-style vehicles that glide, drift, and spin across a water-inspired track.

Each ride combines colourful theming, recognisable character elements and accessible thrills designed for younger visitors and first-time riders.

Interactive Play and Character Encounters

Beyond its rides, World of PAW Patrol offers several interactive spaces that encourage imaginative play. Moreover, children can explore themed mini-locations based on scenes from the PAW Patrol world. These areas feature puzzles, small play structures, activity panels, and fun sound effects.

The land will also serve as a new home for daily PAW Patrol character meet-and-greets. Families can meet Chase, Skye, Marshall, Rubble and more of the iconic pups in a fully themed backdrop, perfect for photos and memorable interactions.

Dining, Retail and New Experiences

A selection of supporting facilities rounds out the new land, including:
