Tiny Truckers

In the lively Adventure Point area of Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Tiny Truckers gives young adventurers the chance to hit the open road. This cheerful convoy ride invites children to climb into the driver’s seat of their very own miniature lorry. As a result, little drivers can experience the thrill of steering through a colourful world designed just for them.

The attraction first opened in 1993 under the name Toy Town Truckers. Since then, the ride has remained a firm favourite for younger guests visiting the park. However, while the theme and surroundings have evolved over the years, the simple joy of driving a tiny truck has never changed.

The ride itself comes from Italian manufacturer Zamperla. Known for producing family attractions across the globe, Zamperla designed Tiny Truckers as a Convoy-style ride. Consequently, each vehicle follows a guided track while still allowing young drivers to feel in control of the journey.

The adventure begins as children take the wheel of one of six colourful trucks. Soon afterwards, the convoy sets off along a twisting and turning course. Each lorry trundles along the track, weaving through gentle bends and playful scenery. Meanwhile, leafy green canopies and bright decorations bring the route to life.

Although the vehicles follow the track automatically, the steering wheel still lets young guests feel like real drivers. Therefore, the ride offers the excitement of driving without the need for a licence. For many children, it becomes their very first driving experience.

Before the journey even begins, the queue line offers plenty of fun to explore. Guests have filled the area with toy cars, creating a playful collection that welcomes young visitors. As a result, children often spend time spotting their favourite vehicles while waiting for their turn to drive.

More recently, the attraction received a colourful refresh for the 2024 season. The update introduced a new colour scheme alongside a reworked queue area. Consequently, the ride now feels brighter and more playful than ever.

Altogether, Tiny Truckers combines simple fun with hands-on adventure. For young drivers eager to take the wheel, it remains one of Adventure Point’s most charming experiences.
